Hello! It’s
been a while hasn’t it? π This year I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate
with Creative Rox and have appeared on their website as a guest blogger. Today I’m
sharing my latest crochet project in collaboration with them here on
my blog.
So turn that frown upside down and make yourself a crochet party crown. π

Party Crown
Using Honey,
ch54, join with sl st to first ch to form a circle.
Rnd 1: Ch2 (2ch
counts as htr throughout), htr in next ch and each ch around, join with sl st
to top of first 2ch – 54htr.
Now check
the fit. You can adjust the pattern by increasing or decreasing the stitch
count by 6, starting with the chain row or by changing hook size up or down by
0.5mm. That way you can make one for you, your children and pets too!
Rnd 2: Ch2, htr
in next st and each st around, join with sl st to top of first 2ch, then turn work
to make bobbles on WS for Rnd 3.
Rnd 3: Change
yarn to Aubergine when making bobbles. Ch2, htr in next st, 2htr, MB, (5htr,
MB) eight times, 2htr, turn work once more to work on RS for Rnd 4 – 45htr, 9MB.
